Improving Healthcare Access: New Tools and Outreach Initiatives at Galeya Rogdha Clinic
Recent funding has enabled us to purchase an ultrasound machine and a motorcycle for the Galeya Rogdha Clinic, improving our ability to provide essential healthcare services. The ultrasound machine is an important diagnostic tool that will revolutionize our maternal care by enabling accurate estimation of gestational age, early detection of pregnancy complications, and better assessment of fetal well-being and perinatal conditions. It also improves diagnostic capabilities for medical and surgical conditions, supporting informed medical decisions.
With the motorcycle, our staff can make frequent home visits to pregnant women to educate them about their health and encourage them to continue prenatal care and birth preparation. From immunizations to screenings to maternal and child health services, the motorcycle is an important resource for the Galeya Rogdha communities.Â
As such, we are planning further initiatives to actively encourage women to access the clinic's services and ensure they receive the care and support they need for a healthy pregnancy and beyond. These investments are an important step in improving healthcare access and quality in our community. We are grateful for the support that makes this progress possible.
